If you’re looking for Facebook alternatives to protect your rights, read this article to find the one that fits your needs. In 2006, an online social networking site titled Facebook took the internet world by storm. Facebook has spectacularly changed the way we socialize and is one of the platforms which has challenged every physical boundary. The same grand scale that makes it so useful also causes privacy issues, ceaseless tracking, security breaches, and general dominance extra-condition.

Are you on the hunt for a conservative or free-speech Facebook alternative? Many good social media networking websites haven’t gained deserving attention still and have survived in the shadows of Facebook’s mighty beast.

12 Best Alternatives to Facebook in 2025 (Conservative, Free Speech):

1. Parler

Parler - Facebook Alternatives

In November 2020, Parler, Inc announced that it had over 10 million total users where 4 million users are actively using this “free-speech” social networking site. But, you should know that some journalists have criticized the content policy of Parler. According to users, Parler, Inc’s content policy is more restrictive than it portrays. So, before using this Facebook alternative, you should read its content policy carefully.

2. Truth Social

Truth Social - Facebook Alternative - Conservative and Free Speech

Truth Social, launched in 2022 by former President Donald Trump, was created as a direct response to what many perceive as biased moderation on Facebook and other mainstream platforms. It’s designed to offer a free-speech-first environment where conservative voices can thrive without fear of shadowbanning or censorship.

The platform mirrors Facebook’s look and feel, with a clean interface, timeline-based posts, hashtags, video content, and user interactions like likes, shares, and comments. One unique feature is the “Truth” post, which replaces the typical “Tweet” or “Status Update,” signaling its mission to counter misinformation narratives.

Truth Social is part of a broader ecosystem aimed at creating a parallel digital economy for right-leaning users. While it’s still evolving, it’s already a favorite among conservative influencers, alternative news creators, and users looking for less filtered online spaces.

If your goal is to connect in a politically aligned, censorship-resistant community, Truth Social deserves a spot on your radar.

The platform is open-source, and it even has its own web browser (Dissenter) and infrastructure to avoid reliance on third-party hosting. While it has faced bans and deplatforming in the past, it remains resilient, supported by a community committed to alternative narratives.

The platform blends familiar features from Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), offering a customizable feed, direct messaging, video content (including livestreams), and trending topics. What sets GETTR apart is its open support for unfiltered political expression and its global user base that spans beyond just the United States.

GETTR has also introduced unique features like Vision, a short-video section to compete with TikTok, and encrypted DMs, prioritizing both engagement and privacy.

Backed by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, Bluesky operates on the AT Protocol, giving users control over their social identity, data, and even the algorithms that shape their feed.

Unlike traditional social networks, Bluesky doesn’t lock users into a single interface or content policy. Developers can build their own apps using the protocol, while users can choose how content is filtered or ranked—essentially deciding their own experience.

While still in early access as of 2025, Bluesky is steadily attracting creators, technologists, and free-speech advocates looking to escape platform control. If you’re looking for a social experience that breaks away from algorithm addiction and puts you in the driver’s seat, Bluesky is worth exploring.

After checking all the facts, we can say that Diaspora is a trusted Facebook alternative to use in 2025.

Just like we do in real life.” It’s a subscription-oriented service free from ads, and there are no data extraction and algorithms. It’s more like an image and link-sharing platform with straightforward and efficient privacy measures.

I’m getting sick of liberals using the term “conspiracy theorist”. It’s not a theory; Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have all been “outed” for censorship of conservative speech. If you followed the congressional hearings on the matter you would know that.

    Have a nice day.
