I will tell you in a second.

What Is an NFC Tag Reader on iOS 14?

With the idea of improving branding and marketing, Apple inserted new App clips into iOS 14. The idea is for users to be able to download a mini-map of all the products and services without downloading an existing app. So how can it work? Through NFC, of course. On the other side, we have brands that will input their details into the NFC tag and enable customers to see everything via the map. The app supports Apple Pay, meaning that users will be able to pay for products and services without an actual card. And that right here in the tech future.

Best NFC Tags for iPhone

Now when you’ve learned how to enable NFC tag, you should know what you can use it for. That’s why I would like to show you several options for NFC usage that you might find in handy. If you have an iPhone 12, you will be able to use NFC directly from your phone. However, if you have an older version, for example, iPhone XR or XS, you will need the Shortcuts app, and you can scan them in the background. If you’re having iPhone 7 to iPhone X, you will be able to use third-party apps for enabling NFC on your mobile device.

The Timeskey NFC 10PCS NTAG 215 NFC Stickers are an easy option and rather cheap. You can stick such a tag for most surfaces such as tables, desks, nightstands, and similar.

If you’re looking for something with more options, check out GoToTags NTAG213 – Blank White NFC PVC ISO Cards. These tags are completely blank, meaning you will need to add up all your information yourself. Yet, it’s a perfect solution for cases where you want to adjust everything to your needs.

According to Apple’s Developer website, an app for NFC tag can enable single or multiple objects scanning when it’s active. The beauty of the entire app is that you do not need to force people to touch physical objects, especially in the pandemic year. It looks like this tech development was helpful before we even knew its full potential.

There are a couple of options for your NFC tags. You can buy pre-made one and use them as a part of your business, or you can purchase blank cards, such as the ones on Amazon, and program them yourself. It might be a bit more expensive option since you might need an expert’s assistance. However, it’s better since you can make your business card or anything else you’re adding to the tag more unique.
